Note to self:
Do not forget gloves when Iowa recess is held outside unless -80. Seminary City really spoiled us for Iowa winter! Actually.... I'd be surprised if I ever forget my gloves on a school day again!

Oh I know I know! I remember recess duty, I sure was bundled up. And I always had a box of extra hats and gloves because I always had kids who forgot theirs. Here in PA it's different. They don't have outside recess if the temp goes under 30 degrees. And back in Ohio, they cancelled school at the drop of a snowflake. We Iowans are tough tough tough! We know what frigid really means. Heehee! Oh! one more thing, I remember I had bright flourescent green mittens and a scarf that matched so the kids could locate me really easily on the playground.
Then Jesus said to his disciples: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
Learning more every day about God's wonderful plans for me and my family. I am a Registered Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. I am wife, daughter, mother, sister, friend and most of all a child of God. My husband has just been ordained as a minister and has been installed in his first congregation. I have a wonderful husband and family, son,Luke age 11 and daughter, Leah age 7 and 2 cats ` Bandit and Skittles.

You need to come to Oregon! The winters are so much better. You know you will always have a place to stay if you ever make it this direction.
