Leah speaks up
We need to work on Leah's manners. Ed's Uncle Don and Aunt Brenda are visiting and we took them to some Antique stores. Right in front of the owner, Leah says very loud. "This is not a tique store, this is old junk!"
Yep...you never know what they will say. Funny thing is that they seem to see the world so simply...usually they problem solve so much better because they don't have the mind clutter we have as adults. Unfortunately, they also don't have the ability to stop from blurting out what they're thinking at that moment. But sometimes it is pearls of wisdom.
Then Jesus said to his disciples: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
Learning more every day about God's wonderful plans for me and my family. I am a Registered Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. I am wife, daughter, mother, sister, friend and most of all a child of God. My husband has just been ordained as a minister and has been installed in his first congregation. I have a wonderful husband and family, son,Luke age 11 and daughter, Leah age 7 and 2 cats ` Bandit and Skittles.
